AT THE CLEARING
High school marks an important time in the journey of life. As we gain more independence and begin to claim our faith as our own, it becomes even more important to surround ourselves with a loving community of friends and mentors who desire to propel one another toward a life of love and faith in Christ. We seek to understand the true identity of who God created us to be and to live into Jesus’ goal for us of “life to the full” (John 10:10)!
THINGS WE DOAt the Clearing, we strive to love God and others more deeply and authentically through a variety of different-themed nights, which rotate throughout the year.
TEACHING We learn more about loving God, others, and ourselves through creatively-communicated lessons, videos, and personal stories. PRAYER We pray for guidance in loving God, others, and ourselves through worship, journaling, and a variety of other vehicles of prayer. SMALL GROUPS We share our stories about loving God, others, and ourselves with others who are going through many of the same struggles and successes that we are. COMMUNITY We live out the quest of loving God, others, and ourselves through activities intentionally designed to be fun and to bring members of the community closer together. |
